Wire shelving casters have a special size grip ring stem that is made for installing on wire shelf racks and carts. Many wire shelving posts have a threaded insert for a 3/8" threaded stem caster. This insert can usually be removed so that our wire shelving casters can be installed in their place. This allows for a much stronger caster stem that will not bend or break under lateral stress.
