Expanding stem casters are designed for installation in hollow tubing or legs. Each caster has a soft rubber bushing installed on a threaded stem with a flat threaded washer on top. Hand tighten the threaded washer to compress and expand the rubber bushing until it fits snugly into leg or tubing. Once installed, use an open box wrench and turn the hex head rivet on the underside of the caster about a half turn to further expand and secure the stem.
